Founders of Ayling, (2)

 

In this photograph, three of the four directors of Ayling Real Estate Gibraltar head to the opening of a new development at Queensway Quay Gibraltar. Leslie Edward Ayling, Anthony Buttigieg (centre), who founded the real estate agency in Gibraltar in 1977, and his wife Lucía Díaz del Valle Guerrero de Buttigieg, directors of Ayling Real Estate, run a family business at 5 Casemates House, Grand Casemates Square, Gibraltar.

Gibraltar. The fourth headteacher, Margaret Ayling, daughter of Tony and Leslie's wife Lucy, used to be a teacher but worked in the estate agency in the evenings until she left teaching a couple of years later to take up the estate agency full time. . Once Ayling Real Estate Gibraltar took over the exclusive rights to sell the entire Punta Almina Sabinillas, Manilva development, they opened another office in Cazes, 143/145 Main Street, as well as an office in Punta Alminas, Sabinillas, Manilva. They sold the entire development of one, two and three bedroom apartments and commercial units off the plan. 

Soon the same developer gave them the exclusive rights to market Aldea Beach and Aldea Hills Manilva. There, another office was opened in the old “Chalet de Lola Flores”, where the famous Spanish singer and movie star filmed. The Aylings and Buttigiegs built and promoted houses in Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro, Sotogrande and in Sotogrande itself. Shortly after they opened an office at Galerías de Paniagua 15 Sotogrande Costa and a few years later they opened another office in the Puerto Deportivo de Sotogrande, Spain. Tony and Lucy ran the Gibraltar side while Leslie and Margaret ran the Spanish estate agency Ayling International Property Services Sotogrande Spain

Ayling Real Estate Gibraltar has been fully licensed since 1977 and also has offices in Puerto de Sotogrande and Galerías de  Paniagua Sotogrande Costa:
